“[The] dancers are picked for their virtuosity, energy and sexiness. They attack the audience and stage like gangbusters.
– The New York Post
One of your favorite companies returns with a world premiere commissioned in part by NextMove Dance that fuses Parsons’ inventive choreography with drone technology.
The program also includes the Philadelphia premiere of Parsons’ latest work Finding Center — a highly musical and exuberant dance reflecting his Paul Taylor roots, set against a backdrop of projections by visual artist Rita Blitt.
The company will also perform Parsons’ celebratory work, Swing Shift (2003), a dance for four couples to music by Kenji Bunch reflecting Parsons’ signature athletic, uplifting and entertaining style.
